_'Where was the truth

One of the oldest tricks in the leftist’s playbook is to claim being a “lifelong Republican,” before regurgitating leftist propaganda. That scam was used by the anti-Trump Lincoln Project frauds, adored by CNN, who fell from grace when their sleezy true natures came out. Nobody buys it, so pretend-Republicans might as well drop the ruse.

Gordon Tinker’s recent letter starts with the “lifelong Republican” thing, before claiming agony for listening to Trump “lie, lie, lie, lie.” What is his best example of a Trump lie? It’s the old media lie which is now known as the Charlottesville Hoax. That hoax repeats the lie that former President Donald Trump called White supremacists and Neo-Nazis “good people,” because he said there were good people on “both sides.” Those two-sides he actually referred to were peaceful folks who wanted statues of Confederates kept in place for historical reasons and peaceful folks who believed the statues were reminders of slavery and should be removed.

The Neo-Nazis, White supremacists and the violent Antifa anarchists showed up later and were not part of the statue debate. Naturally, the media only showed the skinheads carrying torches alongside video of Trump saying “good people on both sides.”

Another thing these faux-Republicans do is invoke Adolf Hitler at every opportunity. Tinker manages to get that in there too.

Next, Tinker accuses Trump of lying about how deadly COVID-19 was, because Trump wanted to avoid an unnecessary panic. Turns out Trump was right, considering the dreadful predictions at that time are now seen as wildly inaccurate. It doesn’t stop Tinker from accusing Trump of genocide, because as he muses “over 200,000 fewer people would have probably not died” if Trump had developed some un-defined ‘national attack.’

Evidently organizing an emergency immunization program through Project Warp Speed, involving multiple pharmaceutical companies and record-breaking schedules, sending Navy hospital ships to both coasts, ramping up medical device production and so forth doesn’t count as a national attack to Tinker. But in his view, Trump is personally responsible for a virus flown in from China.

But what really rattles them is the election.

“Trump lied when he said it was rigged,” he said.

Well, sorry man, but it was. Do you really think the guy who attracted tens of thousands of people at any stadium or airport, practically at a moment’s notice, lost to the old guy who never campaigned and when he did speak in public it was a debacle? Mistook his sister for his wife? Believes “truth over facts?’ And thinks “poor kids are just as smart as White kids?”

Come on, man.
