North Coast Repertory announces the upcoming streaming of "Becoming Dr. Ruth," premiering June 9 and streaming through July 14. Tovah Feldshuh, the six-time Tony nominee, "deftly inhabits the warm, wise, and witty persona of the beloved media figure." Written by Mark St. Germain and directed by David Ellenstein, be sure to reserve your tickets via northcoastrep.org.

Good news! Moonlight Amphitheater is reopening June 16 with "On This Island, The Musical." It's the Tony award winning grand retelling of "The Little Mermaid" running through July 3. It will be followed by "Beauty and The Beast, The Musical" opening July 21 and running through Aug. 7. Then comes "Chorus Line" on Aug. 18 through Sept. 4.

The Moonlight closes its four-show season with "On Your Feet! The story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan" from Sept. 15 through Oct. 2. Subscribe at moonlightstage.com or call for tickets Monday – Friday, noon to 5 p.m. at 760-724-2110.

Mark your calendar. Coming up on KPBS 89.5 FM is the continuing effort to bring Shakespeare's "Hamlet" to the masses. A free airing on Friday, June 18 presents part 1 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 19 for part 2 at the same time or tune in on Sunday, June 27 at 2 p.m. and hear both part 1 and 2.
