Today's Democratic Party

There was a time when Democrats and Republicans were proud of our heritage, saluted our flag, stood for our anthem, and praised the “Almighty” for being Americans. Back then, we shared our mutual respect and pride for our nation openly and often.

Presidents of both parties hailed the magnificence of our great nation with words that filled our hearts with pride and adulation. But the days of standing shoulder to shoulder to celebrate our nation’s birth or to set aside our political differences on Memorial Day while we pay homage to those who made the ultimate sacrifice preserving our way of life has sadly come to an end.

Today’s Democratic Party is more inclined to exaggerate our differences than embellish our similarities, a political party that stresses our dissimilarities rather than embracing our commonality as Americans. We have a shared national heritage, unlike any other nation.

In the 2 ½ centuries of our existence, we have overcome most if not all our former transgressions. We ended slavery more than a century ago and have made significant progress healing our racial divides. We now stand alone as the most ethnically diverse nation on the planet. And yet, the Democratic Party still chooses to dwell on past misgivings and fabricate current injustices rather than focus on promoting a cohesive society for all Americans.

Most Americans are appalled by racial prejudice, but now Democrats openly promote racial discord by ridiculing American citizens based on the color of their skin. Since when is it okay to admonish Caucasians as evil because of the color of their skin?

Most Americans agreed with Martin Luther King Jr. that people should be judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. It seems particularly ironic that the segregationist party, the party of the KKK, and George Wallace, the party of Jim Crow laws and Bull Connor, are now lecturing us about race relations.

By the way, how does implementing Critical Race Theory or the 1619 Project in our schools advance racial harmony or promote national unity? For their political gain, the Democratic Party prefers dividing Americans by race instead of focusing on our shared values as Americans.

Regrettably, today’s Democratic Party has surrendered its control to an avowed group of Marxists striving for their Sandinista moment. Soldiers of the “Red Army Brigade,” these devout Marxists break bread with the disciples of Che Guevara, Mao Tse Tung, and the Castro Brothers. Gone are the moderates in their party and the seminal visionaries, like President Kennedy, who warned that government overreach threatened capitalism and the lives of average Americans. Or the

wisdom of President Clinton’s departure from his party when he proclaimed that the era of big government was over.

Instead, the Democratic Party pursues reparations for slavery from Americans who had nothing to do with slavery. And yet, it remains suspiciously silent when it comes to retribution for the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of maliciously unleashing the Wuhan virus on America and an unsuspecting world.

Apostates of American exceptionalism, traitors of our ancestry, today’s Democratic Party is willfully pursuing and presiding over the calamitous end of our great nation. In truth, the Democratic Party is without virtue, lacks moral integrity, incites violence in our streets, reviles law enforcement, promotes racism, favors illegal aliens over American citizens, and no longer represents working-class Americans. And it will do anything by any means in its pursuit of

power.

Fortunately, there is an antidote to avoid slipping into the abyss of forgotten empires. We must first resist the temptation of relinquishing our national identity and replacing our representative Democracy with Socialism. We must repel the poisonous platitudes and empty promises of today’s Democratic Party and return to the principles of our founding.

If we are to survive as a nation, it is incumbent on us to preserve and protect the precepts of Americanism as enunciated in our Constitution. And we must also embrace the nationalistic concepts former President Trump outlined in his inclusive manifesto, the “American First Doctrine.” With his bold vision for America, we can then begin to restore civility in our society and temperance in our social discord.

And most importantly, we can return to “Making America great again” once again!
