Fallbrook Blanket Project has D'Vine Path covered

FALLBROOK – The D'Vine Path Program is thrilled with the Fallbrook Blanket Project's donation of lap blankets to keep its students warm and also the colorful larger blankets which were auctioned during its Sip & Stroll Soiree Sept. 18.

D'Vine Path Board President Sandi Anderson said, "Thank you Carmen Willard and all the wonderful ladies who diligently and lovingly created these soft Afghans stitch by stitch and row by row! We know hundreds of hours have gone in to creating these beautiful works of art."

Community support and collaboration like this enables D'Vine Path to give its students the amazing educational experiences it offers. Anderson added, "It has been such a pleasure to watch our students grow both emotionally and physically on the ranch. D'Vine Path is the only program model of its kind in San Diego County and has been recognized by the local school districts, San Diego Regional Center and California Department of Rehabilitation."

It was also voted Nonprofit of the Year 2020 by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce. The program's model of multi-dimensional teaching works and the success of all its special students is evident. At the ranch, they grow wine grapes, vegetables, herb gardens, flowers, and succulents, but at its root, D'Vine Path is growing people – happy, confident people who now know they can live their lives with endless possibilities.

D'Vine Path is currently based on Batali Ranch, a private three acre vineyard property that has given it the opportunity to create this unique program model. To promote growth and sustainability the staff needs to relocate their current program to a property of its own somewhere in the Fallbrook, Bonsall or surrounding areas.

All proceeds made at future events will go to this exciting program expansion. For more information, visit http://www.dvinepath.org and http://www.FallbrookBlanketProject.org.
