Newcomers to learn about local organizations

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Newcomers Club September Social meeting didn't disappoint. A new meeting format followed coffee, refreshments, and social time. Fifteen new members and guests were welcomed and treated to a dynamic speaker presentation by local air traffic controllers active during Sept. 11, 2001. And that was just the beginning; it's been a whir of fun and activity ever since.

The Oct. 14 Social Meeting speaker will be Jerri Pachett. If you want to know Fallbrook, here is your go-to person! Patchett will introduce members to three important community organizations: Fallbrook Village Association, Fallbrook Arts Inc., and the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance.

Fallbrook Newcomers Club is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to promoting friendship among new residents through fun activities, events, and social opportunities in which they all can participate.

Anyone new to the area, living here for three years or less, and wishing to learn more about Fallbrook Newcomers or would like to join or attend a meeting as a guest, can mail them at [email protected]. For more information or to download a new membership application, visit https://www.fallbrooknewcomers.com.

Membership is also open to residents that have been in Fallbrook, Rainbow, or De Luz longer than three years, but work or other commitments prevented joining sooner.
