Fallbrook Vintage Car Club camps out for a car show

Members of the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club attend the Bishop Car Show, Saturday, Oct, 2.

FALLBROOK – Members of the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently spent 10 days camping in Bishop and Lone Pine, California. The annual Bishop Fall Colors Car Show was held at the City Park on Saturday, Oct. 2. There were 125 cars from all over the West in attendance, including a Nash Metro that had been electrified; it stole the show.

That afternoon they drove up to Lake Sabrina for some "leaf-peeping" and fishing. Sunday, the group went to Convict Lake for more fishing and sightseeing on a pontoon boat and personal watercraft. Next up was a drive to see the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Fores...
