Fallbrook Music Society adds to its leadership team

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Music Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recent appointments of two new executives to its leadership team. Liz Jamieson-Dunne joins as a member of the organization's board of directors, and Judy Siodmak has been appointed executive director.

"I'm thrilled to welcome Liz and Judy, two proven leaders, to Fallbrook Music Society," said Bob Freaney, FMS President. "Both of these talented women bring skill, expertise and business acumen, which will further bolster and augment the many talents of our organization," he added.

Jamieson-Dunne said "I am pleased to be joining Fallbrook Music Society's board of directors and look forward to building on the great work of the organization, particularly along the path of furthering music education for children in our schools."

Jamieson-Dunne has extensive experience as a successful marketing executive with Fortune 500 companies in building businesses and products domestically and internationally within the consumer packaged goods and direct response marketing arenas. She created a social platform and network called Finding Hidden Courage, which is dedicated to helping others through a spiritual path of service, and she is also publishing her first book "...Finding Hidden Courage," which will be available later this year.

She has also held positions as CEO of Marketing That Works, senior VP marketing worldwide with Vidal Sassoon, Max Factor, Procter & Gamble, and Space Bag, a division of S.C. Johnson. Her background also includes advertising and creative development with international agencies.

Jamieson-Dunne has been a resident of Fallbrook since 2000, and has served on the board of Fallbrook Arts, Inc., and currently serves at Hilltop Center for Spiritual Living. She is also an accomplished artist.

Siodmak recently assumed the music society's executive director role after a six-year hiatus from the organization.

"Judy is the perfect fit for us," said Freaney. "From 2006-2015, she served Fallbrook Music Society, initially as an independent consultant to spearhead development of the organization's long term strategic planning. Her expertise in educational initiatives, management, marketing and fundraising activities will greatly help solidify our organization," he added.

During her earlier tenure with the organization, Siodmak's responsibilities expanded to include roles as interim executive director and general manager. She also served as a member of the Endowment Campaign Cabinet in the development and implementation of the music society's $1.6 million endowment fund.

Siodmak's professional career includes a variety of marketing/advertising executive positions in Seattle, Los Angeles and Pomona, including 18 years as vice president for marketing and strategic planning for the Los Angeles County Fair Association (Fairplex).

Siodmak and her husband Geoff have been residents of Bonsall for the past 21 years, and have volunteered for various local non-profit organizations including Fallbrook Arts Inc., and the Fallbrook Food Pantry.
