The 40th anniversary of the Fallbrook Christmas Parade will be celebrated along with the theme "Miracle on Main."

FALLBROOK – It will be a "Miracle on Main" in the Friendly Village this year, the theme for the annual Fallbrook Christmas Parade chosen by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce. Participants are encouraged to incorporate this theme in their window decorating downtown and on Christmas Parade floats.

The Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. on Main Avenue. The parade route begins at Ammunition Road and ends at Ivy Street near the historic Mission Theater. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this cherished nighttime event.

Planning for this community tradition is already underway, and entry forms have started arriving at the Chamber office. A limit of 100 entries will be accepted, with the deadline for entry being Wednesday, Nov. 17.

The parade is a wonderful way to kick off Christmas in the Village. The parade is preceded by the downtown Village Artisan Faire a week prior on Saturday, Nov. 27.

Anyone who would like to be a part of this festive parade, can stop in and pick up an entry application at the Chamber office, 111 S. Main Ave. or download an entry form at www.fallbrookchamberofcommerce.org and click on the EVENTS tab. New this year, registration can be done on the website as well.

Sponsorship packages are now available. The Christmas Parade is a gift to the community; to make a contribution to this special traditional holiday event, contact the chamber for details, 760-728-5845.
