Raul "Rudy" Escobedo

Raul "Rudy" Escobedo lived June 19,1989 to Oct. 20, 2021.

The Escobedo family is deeply heartbroken by our brother's sudden passing. Rudy was the best brother, son, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. Born and raised in Fallbrook, Rudy was a genuine soul who always had a big, bright smile to cheer up anyone's day. He gave the warmest hugs and everybody loved the big-kid in him.

Rudy learned many trades and anytime he was given a task, he would put his whole heart into it. He enjoyed many adventurous hobbies outdoors and loved spending time with family and friends. He has left us far too early and will be incredibly missed by everyone.

Rudy is preceded in death by his father, Candelario Escobedo. He is survived by his mother, Irma Escobedo; brother John Escobedo, sister-in-law Elena Escobedo, sister Adriana Escobedo, brother-in-law Jerry Rivera, sister Irene Escobedo, brother-in-law Ryan Matteson and nine nieces and nephews.

To the close family, Escobedo family and friends, and all who came together to support each other during this difficult time, we love you and cherish all the stories that will keep our brother's memory alive. Please always take the time to pass on the kindness that Rudy shared during his time here with us.

We will miss our loving brother and know that he is free at home with our Loving God in heaven.

Viewing will be held at Berry Bell & Hall Mortuary in Fallbrook on Thursday, Oct. 28, 4-8 p.m., Mass on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. at the San Juan Diego Center, Pala Mission. Burial will follow at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery. Please no black attire.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to 'Our2Sons' Facebook page or any local entity that helps individuals with the harsh reality of opioid addiction. God bless.
