FALLBROOK - Nov. 30, the guest speaker at Fallbrook Garden Club's General Meeting will be Scott Logan, the Gottlieb Native Garden's Naturalist. Scott documents the wildlife species as they vary with the Gottlieb Garden's bloom, seasons, and migratory patterns. He also coordinates scientific research projects and monitors the overall health and biodiversity of the Garden. His photographs were exhibited at Annenberg Space; he was a featured speaker for Autry Museum of the American West, Los Angeles Zoo, and Botanical Gardens.

The Gottlieb Native Gardens has been nationally recognized for replacing exotic plants with California native plants.

Story of The Gottlieb Native Gardens: During the 1990s, to conserve water and provide habitat for wildlife, Susan and Dan Gottlieb began replacing the exotic ornamentals in their Los Angeles garden with California native plants. The result was a renowned urban oasis that is a haven for researchers, educators, and a broad range of environmental groups, with featured articles in the L.A. Times and New York Times.

Meetings are held at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Ln. at 12:30 pm, social time 1 pm, business meeting and 2 pm program starts. Masks required for non-vaccinated and recommended for vaccinated. Water, tea, and coffee will be available. The public is welcome.
