What's playing at the Mission Theater

FALLBROOK – The Mission Theater is offering a full line-up of old movies and comedy this month. Fundraisers will also be held for the Fallbrook Music Society and Fallbrook Historical Society, as well as a performance by Gin N' Tonix.

“Spiral Staircase” plays March 4. Its cast includes Dorothy McGuire, George Brent and Ethel Barrymore.

Acoustic Eidelon, presented by FMS, plays March 10 at 6:30 p.m .; early tickets are $15, $20 at the door.

Little Lord Fauntleroy is coming March 11 starring Dolores Costello, a fundraiser for the historical society. Tickets are 10 in advance, $12 at the door.

"The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara will play March 18 followed by Gin 'n Tonix Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m., offering an evening of jazz, swing and tributes to the Manhattan Transfer. Tickets can be ordered at http://www.NVoiceStudios.com.

"Houseboat" with Cary Grant and Sophia Loren plays Friday, March 25. That Sunday, March 27 is a free concert, Sacra/Profana, presented by the Fallbrook Music Society, at 2 p.m.

April 1 brings Dudley Moore and Liza Minelli in "Arthur."

These film events are not open to the general public, (only to those on the theater's email list and their guests); anyone not on the list can sign up by emailing [email protected]. To attend the movie, send an email and let them know which event and how many are coming.

The concession stand will be offering beer, wine, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, popcorn, candy, soft drinks, juice and iced tea.
