Rebekah Hagan is the guest speaker for the "Inspiring Hope" Western Gala fundraiser for Hope Clinic, March 12.
FALLBROOK – The Hope Clinic for Women will welcome the community March 12 to the 17th Annual "Inspiring Hope" Western Gala at SonRise Christian Fellowship, located at 463 S. Stagecoach Lane.
Guests will hear guest speaker Rebekah Hagan and also enjoy down-home fixings to eat with caterers Carlo and Alita Guardado and music by Allen & Friends, with a big-sky, boot-stompin', pickin' and grinnin' good time! In addition, guests will meet HCWs new executive director, Amy Martin.
Hagan will tell her story which begins when she became pregnant at 17 with her son, Eli, and again with a second child while in her first year of college. Fearing that she would lose her family and be forced to drop out of school, Hagan thought that raising two children alone would be impossible. At just over seven weeks pregnant, she began a medication abortion that changed her life; however, her story did not end there. The rest of her inspiring story will be shared at the gala.
The Western Gala begins at 6 p.m. and is free to all. HCW encourages guests to invite a posse of friends and give their group a name when they register – something like the "Giddy Up Girls," or the "Fallbrook Wranglers." They are excited to see who has the most creative name and the largest Posse. "Inspiring Hope" is the clinic's most important fundraiser of the year where guests can support HCW at the event. Their goal this year is $100,000 where funds raised will strengthen their ability to deliver more medical and pregnancy services to more women, more days of the week. Gala sponsorships are welcomed and allow all funds raised the night of the gala to go directly to clinic operations caring for Hope's moms, dads and babies.
