Thinking of selling your house? Realtor Elisabeth Lentulo of Broadpoint Properties suggests doing it now.

"I really don't think this big jump in prices can continue," she said in a recent interview. "Real estate is cyclical and with inflation, I don't see there being as many people who can afford to buy."

And though prices in Fallbrook have indeed shot up at an insane rate, she said, "prices here are pretty affordable compared to some other parts of the county."

A licensed Realtor since 2011 and broker associate with Broadpoint Properties since 2016, Lentulo said she enjoys the excitement and challenge of the real estate industry.

Her experience in North County is extensive and she has a special fondness for Fallbrook since moving here four years ago from Escondido.

Broadpoint Properties is based in Escondido and her husband works in San Diego, but they "enjoy all the open space in Fallbrook," she said. "The drive is certainly worth it. There's breathing room and that's priceless."

"Fallbrook is our little gem, and this is our sanctuary," she added.

Lentulo said there is a premium now on one-story homes in the area because seniors are more comfortable not tackling stairs.

"It used to be that downsizing was a problem with buyers moving into a higher property tax base," Lentulo said. "That's changed since Prop 19 passed, and buyers 55 and older can keep their previous property base."

With the office based in Escondido, she said it allows her to attract more buyers than if she was based only in Fallbrook.

She also welcomes listings, noting that many in the area are moving out of state for one reason or another.

The Realtor said she can expertly deal with traditional sales and investment properties as well as short sales, having been awarded the Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Certification. In addition, she attained the nationally recognized Seniors Real Estate Specialist title from the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors.

Lentulo has also been awarded the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional Certification. The National Association of Realtors awards the MRP certification to Realtors who help military personnel, veterans and their families find housing that lets them make the best use of their benefits and serves the unique needs of military life.

She is also proficient in working with and determining the financial needs and situations of every client. She has resided in North County for over three decades and demonstrates a keen understanding of and appreciation for the area.

Her background in interior design gives her an adeptness in preparing each home and helping sellers obtain the highest possible price for their property.

Lentulo grew up in Germany and continues to speak German fluently. She is an active member of the San Diego North County Deutscher Stammtisch. An enthusiastic vocalist as well, she performs regularly with the popular Disciple Singers at First United Methodist Church of Escondido, with the prestigious Gary Bonner Singers, and periodically with the Fallbrook Chorale.

She can be reached at Broadpoint Properties, 760-532-1057 or [email protected].
