Encore Club enjoys new treasures

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Encore Club is a social club that serves the communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow and De Luz. The club has many activities and social gatherings that offer an opportunity to meet both old and new friends.

In April, Fallbrook Encore Club members enjoyed acquiring new "treasures." As part of the club's " GO "activity, a dozen members went shopping for new treasures in the thrift stores and antique malls in Oceanside. After shopping, it was time for lunch to chat up their finds. An auction was held at the April coffee meeting. New and gently used items were donated by members and sold to the highest bidder! Members went home with their new acquisitions.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month through June with a break for the summer; meetings resume in September. Social time begins at 9:30 a.m., the business meeting follows at 10 a.m. There is an opportunity to sign up for upcoming activities including many game groups and dining gatherings for lunch or evening events, plus many more. The next coffee meeting will be held Tuesday, May 3 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1620 Stage Coach Lane.

Future new members are always welcome to visit one of the monthly meetings and get acquainted with club members before determining if Encore is a good fit for them. Those interested in membership may contact the membership chair, Ardis Duhachek, at 612-309-0099 or visit http://www.fallbrookencoreclub.com.
