Hope Clinic for Women celebrates families at Hope Walks

FALLBROOK – This past year, Hope Clinic for Women impacted the futures of families in Fallbrook facing unplanned pregnancy. Time spent with trained patients and advocates provided these families with helpful medical services and opportunities to learn and grow as parents and individuals and to make informed choices that have lifelong impacts on them and their families.

With a focus at the clinic on first trimester medical services, in 2021, HCW provided 73 free pregnancy tests and 79 free ultrasounds. Along with pregnancy services support, they hosted over 1,000 client visits, 714 individual educational classes, and were thankful for the 25 babies born to moms in their programs.

On June 18, from 8-11:30 a.m., HCW will host “Hope Walks,” a virtual and in person, free family event at The Vineyard 1924, 1924 E. Mission Road in Fallbrook. Funds raised at the walk will provide much needed operational funds for the clinic whose goal this year is $15,000 in underwriting, sponsorships, and pledges from the community. Those interested who cannot attend Hope Walks are encouraged to walk in their neighborhood or at other sites at a time best for them.

Participants may register for Hope Walks at https://www.hopefallbrook.com/Get-Involved/Hope-Events. For those wanting assistance, HCW is happy to help register individuals or groups when they call 760-728-4105 Ext 11. Once registered, a personal fundraising page is automatically created for them to share on social media should they wish to use it to raise funds for their walk. They can set a fundraising goal and enjoy watching the thermometer on their page rise until they meet it.

Those raising $150 or more in pledges will receive a Hope Walks t-shirt sponsored by LifePointe Media and the Ken Follis & Sharon Robinson Group, Compass Real Estate, and We Luv San Diego. All children 10 and under will receive a free pinwheel.

HCW encourages families, churches, and businesses to attend and enjoy a morning of fun events including kid’s games and delicious homemade food. It’s a great end of the school year activity with a purpose to support young families in Fallbrook. Dads at the walk will receive a free “Hope” baseball cap in honor of Father’s Day.

Sponsorships are appreciated for Hope Walks with opportunities for a Nike Sponsor at $1,000, a Reebok Sponsor at $800, an Adidas Sponsor at $500, and a Converse Sponsor at $250.
