Employees who are retiring this school year were recognized by trustees of the Fallbrook Union High School District at its May 23 board meeting. Norm Engstrom was a special education teacher for the district from October 2001 to August 2021. Also present was LtCol William Wade who was head of the JROTC program at Fallbrook High School from April 2016 to January 2022.
Mary Reisman and Jon Nellis are the other employees recognized, but they did not attend the meeting. A special education teacher at FHS, Reisman started in May 1998 and served until October 2021. A science teacher at Ivy High, Nellis worked from August 2001 to June 2022.
