A Poem for My Wife

It's always hard to say goodbye,

The more we love, the more we cry.

You are my wife, my friend, my woman, mi amour,

My love for you continually grows... forever more.

And when my time comes to a farewells end,

Our love for each other, we'll meet again.

--- Craig ---

Pat was a beautiful woman with a kind heart and an abundance of love to share, a person that was always the first to help, regardless of money.

She leaves behind her husband, Craig Smith; children: Barron, Victoria and Andrea and grandchildren: Logan, Kira, Marley and Lisa.

She was an avid ballroom dancer for more than 20 years and her favorite dance was the Argentine tango which she loved everything about from the passionate embrace to its' final corte.

Pat was a Certified Public Accountant and owned her business in Torrance, California.

She was a graduate of Ohio State University, a brilliant woman with high standards in education. Pat always encouraged her family to excel in higher learning. Pat was especially proud of her grandson Logan Kelsey for going to Idaho State University and achieving the Dean's Honor list while majoring in mechanical engineering. She was a longtime member with the Delta Gamma Sorority out of Cleveland, Ohio which she dearly loved being a part of for almost 70 years.

She yearned to travel and at an early age she left Ohio alone, and with little money in her purse, she managed to sail to Europe, and as she always said, "It was the best experience of my young life." The exciting moments and adventures she encountered thrilled her and encouraged her to visit many countries around the world throughout her life.

A quote by Keanu Reeves [on death] – "I know that the ones who love us will miss us."

My love for Pat will never end, I will miss her forever, I loved her with all my heart, I adored her.
