Encore Club holds Beach Blanket Bingo party

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Encore Club is going into summer break, giving time for the new board and activities chairs to plan exciting and new things for the upcoming 2022-2023 year. The Encore Club is a social club, for neighbors from Fallbrook, Bonsall, DeLuz and Rainbow, to get together for monthly coffee meetings and sign up for a wide variety of activities.

The club is a welcoming place for singles or couples to meet, make new friends and reconnect with old friends.

Members said their Beach Blanket Bingo, the ultimate summer break party, was a raging success. It was held at a member's home in Fallbrook. The food was delicious, burgers and dogs cooked up by Glen Landers and Bob Drzewicki, member chefs.

Then Bingo was fast and entertaining while cash prizes were large, leaving quite a few laughing as all the winners were men, sitting at the same table. Everyone will be scrambling for that table next time.

Wine and Dine is a popular activity held at members' homes usually on a Saturday evening once a month. Participants don't have to like wine to join in. Everyone brings a dish to share and their own choice of refreshment. The last Wine and Dine for this year was weather perfect for outdoors, the host home totally enhanced the long summer evening for an enjoyable gathering.

Their next regular monthly coffee will be the first Tuesday of September, at Christ The King Church, 1620 Stage Coach. Social time begins at 9:30 a.m., meeting at 10:00. All are invited to drop in to see what the club is all about, get acquainted and check out the new activities planned for the club.

Anyone with questions can go to http://www.Fallbrookencoreclub.com or contact Ardis Duhachek, membership chair, at 612-309-0099.
