Theatre Talk: What's on stage this summer

There is still plenty of theatre this summer.

"Lempicka" continues at La Jolla Playhouse on its way to Broadway, playing here until July 26. It's about the artist and her husband escaping to Paris from the Russian revolution. Tickets: 858-550-1010 or https://lajollaplayhouse.org/.

New Village Arts is performing at the Flower Fields in Carlsbad this summer. Opening June 29 is "Leonard Bernstein's New York." It runs. through July 31. Their annual fundraiser gala is July 17. Tickets: 760-433-3245 or https://newvillagearts.org/. Performances are at 5704 Paseo del Norte.

San Diego Musical Theatre is dark until October and San Diego Repertory has canceled the rest of this season.
