Change Your Mind festival is coming Sept. 10

CARLSBAD – Change Your Mind is Interfaith Community Services’ inaugural mental health festival, where they are creating a space to openly and safely challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and self-care as a community.

Set for Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Change Your Mind is a free, one-day event that focuses on creating and sustaining mental wellness through workshops, demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on experiences led by experts from Interfaith Community Services and some of the leading voices in the San Diego mental health & Self-Help communities

Open to all,  a family-friendly event that welcomes all ages, it will be held at Viasat 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad. Area residents are invited to come experience wellness activities such as art therapy, live music including a performance by Reggae Group Sensi Trails, cultural dance performances, breath work, four distinct sensory activities, yoga, sound baths, and more.

There will also be booths showcasing art and products from a variety of local vendors/makers. This event is free to the community, but those who want to attend must secure their spot by registering at https://www.interfaithservices.org/.
