Fallbrook Arts hosts 'Art Under the Stars'

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Arts invites the public to attend "Art Under the Stars" Saturday, Oct. 1, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The event will be held outdoors in the yard of the Fallbrook School of the Arts at 310 E. Alvarado Street. This evening under the stars will include hors d'oeuvres, a delicious dinner, and sweets. Prosecco, wine and beer will also be served.

The highlight of the evening will be a silent auction of 60 small original artworks by renowned watercolor artists. Vocalist Kari Kirkland will visit from Palm Springs and entertain with her sultry jazz arrangements throughout the evening.

Tickets to the fundraiser may be purchased at the Fallbrook Arts website, https://fallbrookartsinc.org/; the Fallbrook Chamber website, https://www.fallbrookchamberofcommerce.org/, or at the Fallbrook Art Center, 103 S. Main. The last date to buy tickets is Sept. 20.

This fundraiser will support the exhibition and continued education of the arts in Fallbrook through its divisions: Fallbrook Art Center, Fallbrook School of the Arts and Fallbrook Art in Public Places. Fallbrook Arts, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Find Magnified Show will continue to run through Sept. 11 at the Doris E. De Haan Fallbrook Art Center, in The Janice Griffiths Gallery. This show and sale offers one-of-a kind, affordable artful gifts in a wide variety of media and styles including glass, wood, ceramics, jewelry, wearable art, mixed media, greeting cards, and much more. All items are handmade by regional artists.

Admission is free. The show is open daily through Aug. 30, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays Noon to 3 p.m. For more information, go to http://www.fallbrookartcenter.org.
