D'Vine Path captivates guests at fourth annual Sip N' Stroll Soiree

FALLBROOK – D’Vine Path hosted the fourth annual Sip N’ Stroll Soiree, Saturday, Sept. 10, the first of many soirees to be hosted at the new location. More than 150 guests gathered in support of the program and the important work they’re doing for adults with disabilities.

The night began with many unique dining experiences offered by local vendors and D’Vine Path culinary students. Guests went from station to station being served food and drinks from a variety of local businesses including restaurants and wineries. The many different vendors allowed all attendees to try new dishes and connect with new businesses while they toured the program, sipping on local beer and wine.

Guests also had the opportunity to explore the program, participate in grape stomping and support the individual pathways through buying artwork at the D’Vine Path Art Studios gallery or purchasing D’Vine Path merchandise, homemade gifts, prints, and more at the sales booth.

Many guests bought raffle tickets and participated in the live auction for themed items and experiences, including a self-care basket, a sweets basket, and a Six Flags day trip basket. All proceeds for these items will go towards the students and the future of the program.

For the past four years, D’Vine Path Lead Facilitator Serena Batali has enjoyed seeing the tremendous impact the Sip N’ Stroll Soiree has on the students.

“The Soiree is a chance for the students to show off everything they’ve learned and accomplished in the past year,” she said. “Between all of the conversations they have with guests and the program presentations and performances, they are beaming with pride throughout the whole event. It’s so important to feel important, which is exactly how our students feel after such a big production.”

The last experience of the night was the student performances, highlighting the best of the best at D’Vine Path. D’Vine Path Executive Director Lenila Lingad Batali introduced herself, the staff, as well as Board President Randy Anderson before inviting the students to begin the show. All students participated in group dances, songs, and Fallbrook’s own Slacker Hill Band performed alongside the students. Attendees were able to dance on stage with the students and staff as the night came to an end.

The fourth annual D’Vine Path Sip N’ Stroll Soiree was an immense success for the students and staff, guests were excited to be involved, meet the students and they also enjoyed the wide variety of experiences offered throughout the night.
