Newcomers to hear from I Love A Clean San Diego

FALLBROOK – It's another new year for Fallbrook Newcomers Club with members enjoying each other and several new activities to kick start September. In addition to the many games, outings and events members have enjoyed previously, the club has added six new activities bringing the monthly total to 17.

Now there is Pickleball for exercise enthusiasts, Out On the Town for live theatre and concert buffs, Tasting Tours to explore local wineries, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, for those that enjoy crafting, garden tours, maybe a little spa time.

Making friends, finding local activities and resources can be challenging when moving to a new area. But here in Fallbrook, newcomers are in luck, because there is a club dedicated to promoting fun and friendship among new residents in the community.

Fallbrook Newcomers Club provides helpful information, promotes local business and charities, and provides countless opportunities for fun and friendship through various activities, events, and outings. Each month, an engaging speaker informs and entertains members interested in making connections and learning more about the community and surrounding areas.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at Christ the King Church at 10 a.m. The next meeting is on Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. and features speaker Maren Kavanagh, community education coordinator from I Love A Clean San Diego, to discuss waste production in San Diego county, recycling rules, zero waste tips and volunteer opportunities.

Anyone who is a resident of Fallbrook, De Luz, Bonsall or Rainbow and wishes to learn more about Fallbrook Newcomers Club, would like to attend a meeting as a guest, or inquire about membership, can visit https://www.fallbrooknewcomers.com or email them at [email protected].
