'Art Under the Stars' benefits arts education and exhibition

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Arts hosted “Art Under the Stars,” Saturday, Oct. 1. The sold-out event was held outdoors in the yard of the Fallbrook School of the Arts at 310 E. Alvarado St. The evening under the stars included a delicious dinner with champagne and wine.

The highlight of the evening was the silent auction of 60 small original artworks by renowned watercolor artists. Larger works by local artists Charles Rouse and Carolyn Reynolds were also auctioned. Vocalist Kari Kirkland from Palm Springs entertained the group throughout the evening with her sultry jazz arrangements.

The Fallbrook Arts Board of Directors said they appreciate the support of their sponsors and the community for making this event a success. The funds raised through the event will support the exhibition and continued education of the arts in Fallbrook through its divisions: Fallbrook Art Center, Fallbrook School of the Arts and Fallbrook Art in Public Places. Fallbrook Arts, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If anyone wishes to help support the arts, they can visit https://fallbrookartsinc.org/.
