Fallbrook Music Society welcomes new board member

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Music Society's Board of Directors announces the recent appointment of Kathleen Richardson as a member of the organization's board.

"It is a privilege for me to be elected to the Board of Fallbrook Music Society, and I look forward to representing the organization as we continue our commitment to artistic excellence in music and youth music education outreach in Fallbrook and its surrounding communities," said Richardson.

"I am proud to be on board to help celebrate the anniversary of the organization's founding and look forward to building upon the great work that has been accomplished over the past 45 years," she added.

Richardson earned certification as an Internal Auditor in 2000, became a practicing Certified Public Accountant in 1998, and currently serves as an Enrolled Agent for H&R Block/Block Advisors in Fallbrook. She earned a reputation for excellence and professionalism while employed in a variety of positions at several national and internationally renowned companies, such as Chevron Corporation with assignments in New York, San Francisco, and London.

She was Assistant Controller at The Associated Press, New York, where she was responsible for Revenue and Expenses accounting of 150 worldwide news bureaus, and subsequently was a North American Regional Controller for Mediabrands (an IPG Company).

Richardson has been a resident of Fallbrook for the past 10 years, relocating from New York City. She has a mother, brother and two sisters who also live in the Fallbrook area. Richardson is also an accomplished artist and musician.

Celebrating its 45th anniversary year, Fallbrook Music Society is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization and carries on its various missions of presenting professional music concerts in Fallbrook, music outreach programs for students in the Fallbrook and Bonsall school districts, and new this year – music instruction and in class performances for the Fallbrook Boys & Girls Club.
