REINS brings Santa to families

FALLBROOK – REINS students came out to see Santa and mini reindeer Zippy, Dec. 20, and they all had a wonderful time. REINS has been celebrating the holidays with students and their families since the program began.

For a child with a disability, activities like visiting Santa can be very challenging or impossible in a traditional setting. Giving students an accessible, safe, caring, sensory friendly environment during the holiday party has always been a REINS tradition.

REINS Executive Director Debbie Shinner said she and her staff, “are grateful for all of our supporters and families, and we wish everyone a happy and safe new year. Also, we give many thanks to Darrell Bickley for being the REINS Santa and to Sam Hardy for being our volunteer photographer.”
