St. Peter Thrift Store now takes credit card payments

FALLBROOK – St. Peter Thrift Store is an active ministry of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish. Since it started in 2000, the store has given back to the community through various nonprofit organizations and has provided financial assistance through its Community Assistance Program from the sale of the generous donated items received at the thrift store.

CAP consists of a Spanish representative and an English representative. They help individuals living in the areas of Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow, in their time of need, regardless of race, nationality or social status.

The staff are happy to announce that the store now accepts credit card and debit card for purchases over $10. They also have a website that can be visited at https://stpeterthriftstore.org/. Supporters can also make monetary donations on the website.

The store accepts clothing, household items, jewelry and furniture. Staff also pick up furniture on request. Other items accepted include vehicles, boats or planes.

To be a part of this fulfilling ministry, consider volunteering Monday-Thursday or Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (The store is closed on Fridays due to lack of volunteers).

The thrift store is located at 520 S. Main Ave. and can be contacted at 760-728-7012.
