Uninhabited crashed car found, man pleads with woman to get him 'out of here'

First responders responded to an expanded traffic collision call this morning to find a car that had gone off the road on the eastbound side of Old Highway 395 and 5th Street in Rainbow. The car had no one inside when deputies and NCFPD arrived. The call came in at 7:19 am this morning, Wednesday, June 7.

At about the same time, according to Tony Campbell of AC Investigations, there was reported a man that came to the back door of Rainbow Oaks restaurant desperately asking for a female employee to help him leave the area. She denied his plea explaining that she had to start work. He was reported to say, "I have to get out of here." He was described as a Hispanic male with lots of tattoos, wearing a hoodie. No additional information is available at this time.
