People to People turns 28

Nonprofit Fallbrook People to People Services is celebrating its 28th anniversary this month.

The organization was founded in 1981 by Dr. Mary Breen and Marjorie Markham to assist the elderly and incapacitated find affordable homecare. Additionally, they recognized the need to create an organization that could assist individuals who sometimes have difficulty finding general employment, such as young people, retirees and women reentering the workforce.

These objectives continue to be the focus of volunteer-run Fallbrook People to People. All services are provided free of charge to those seeking help or employment.

The office is located at 140 West Mission Road. For more information, visit http://www.fallbrookpeopletopeople.org or call (760) 728-0175.
