A TWO VEHICLE COLLISION ON SR-76 RESULTS IN A FATALITY

(San Diego County) - On November 25, 2008 at approximately 6:20 PM, A West Covina man, age 26, was driving a 2001 Chevy Cavalier, eastbound on SR-76 west of Via Monserate. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Cavalier drifted onto the dirt shoulder, overcorrected and crossed over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic. Shane Noble, age 26, of Carlsbad, was driving a 1999 Chevy Pick-up, on SR-76 westbound.
