FALLBROOK — The Women’s Opportunity Award program, Fallbrook Soroptimist’s major service project, aids women seeking to improve their economic status by gaining additional skills, training and education.
Women who serve as the primary financial support to their family (including children, spouse, siblings and/or parents), attend or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program and have financial need may apply for the Women’s Opportunity Award.
The award recipient will receive $575 and advance to the regional level, where one recipient will receive $5,000. The program culminates with three finalists receiving $10,000 awards each.
