Angel, about 2, is very shy and wants a quiet home to help her feel safe. She has been spayed. For more information, contact Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary at (760) 685-3533 or visit www.fallbrookanimalsanctuary.com.

FALLBROOK — Only a few black cats were adopted during a special Valentine’s Day promotion and none of them were nicknamed Lucky. So, Lucky the cat is still available for adoption at the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary.

Between now and St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, anyone who adopts the black cat with the secret nickname of Lucky will win a bowlful of rewards provided by Creature Comforts in Fallbrook, including one year of cat food, a cat bed, a litter box and a host of other goodies.

The new owner will also have their adoption fees waived, which includes the first two shots and regular spay/neutering plus micro-chipping.

If Lucky is not adopted this time, a winner will be randomly picked from those who adopt a black cat February 26 through March 17.

For more information, call (760) 583-6277 or visit http://www.fallbrookanimalsanctuary.org.
