Village Rotary pleased that sculpture is back in place

FALLBROOK — Members of Fallbrook Village Rotary are pleased to see that the bronze sculpture entitled “Bonjour,” crafted by local artist Celou Bonnet, is back in its rightful place in the Village Square and restored to its original condition.

The sculpture, originally funded in 2000 by Village Rotary, was stolen in July of 2008 and recovered months later by the Sheriff’s Department.

It had sustained some damage to its base. Rotarians Nick Beye and Vince Ross funded the repair, performed by Bonnet. The sculpture was installed in its original location this past July.
