Lanuza serving in Japan

TOKYO, JAPAN - Air Force Capt. Lionel P. Lanuza has arrived for duty at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan.

Lanuza is readiness flight commander assigned to the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron. The captain has served in the military for four years.

He is the son of Maria Burgoon, of Moreno Valley, and Jon Burgoon, of Fallbrook.

The captain graduated in 1998 from Fallbrook High School and received a master’s degree in 2009 from Colorado State University, Fort Collins.
