I support Issa's wilderness bill

The recent introduction of Rep. Issa’s legislation to expand protection of the Agua Tibia and Beauty Mountain wilderness areas east of Fallbrook builds on legislation signed by President Obama last March.

These bills are a testament to the importance of these wild places to local communities and the region. I support Rep. Issa’s wilderness bill and urge him to consider including other unprotected wild places and rivers on public lands in San Diego County, including the Santa Margarita River, Barker Valley and the upper San Diego River Gorge.
