Bull riding, music and dance coming to Pala

PALA – Professional Bull Riders (PBR) fans can blow off some steam and dance to Hill Country, Southern California’s top country band, when Pala Casino Spa & Resort hosts a free country dance party at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 22, in the events center following the first-day of the Pala PBR Touring Pro Division bull riding competition at the Pala Rodeo Grounds, 11154 Highway 76 in Pala.

Guests must be at least 21 to enter the party that will feature a huge dance floor, country line dance lessons, a mechanical bull and food and drink.

The Pala Touring Pro Division bull riding competition will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 22, and Sunday, May 23. Tickets for the competition are available by calling (877) 946-7252.

The Pala Touring Pro Division event will showcase some of the most promising rising stars of the PBR riding alongside fan favorites and veterans, and all competitors will face off against the most famous bucking bulls in the industry.
