People's choice in avocado art announced

FALLBROOK – The winner of the People’s Choice Award in the Art of the Avocado contest is Judy Henninger’s “The Very Still Life of an Avocado.”

A record number of voters (435) participated in the People’s Choice Awards this year.

According to event organizer Anita Kimzey, there was a lot of activity at the gallery where the entries were displayed. Kimzey said, “This year people seemed to be really interested in the artwork. Everyone is getting excited about next year.”...
