Making pillowcases to help others

FALLBROOK – Residents are invited to “Make a Pillowcase to make a difference” on Saturday May 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Quilter’s Cottage has joined with American Patchwork and Quilting’s Million Pillowcase Challenge to sponsor this community project.

Materials and instruction will be provided free at the shop so individuals can make a pillowcase to donate to local recipients including Wounded Warriors. Local residents can drop in any time during the five hour workshop, and sewing machines will be available.
