Lamont graduates from UC Berkeley

BERKELEY – On May 16, 2010, Sean Lamont of the Fallbrook High School Class of 2006 graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Engineering with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering.

During his time at Cal, Lamont was a member of the concrete canoe and steel bridge intercollegiate teams, which placed top engineering talent in competition for design and construction awards.

Athletically, he was a member of the crew team for two years and competed in the intramural student sports program.

His summer experiences were highlighted by internships with the Mission Resource Conservation District in Fallbrook and the Belmont Department of Public Works.

Lamont will begin working in June as a civil engineer in the water department with a Bay Area municipality.
