Live fire training scheduled for June 7 through 11 on Camp Pendleton

CAMP PENDLETON - The Camp Pendleton Fire Department along with approximately 50 fire agencies throughout Southern California will be conducting annual training from June 7 through 11.

The week-long session involves "live fire" scenarios and serves as a vital, "hands-on" training opportunity. The wildfire training provides valuable experience for improving performance during actual emergency situations.

Controlled burns will be conducted in the eastern portion of the base and smoke will be visible thru-out the Northern San Diego County area.
