Anderson leads Supervisor Stone for 36th Senate race

According to the State of California Registrar of Voters, as of 12:55 am Wednesday morning, with 43 percent (268 out of 617) precincts reporting, Joel Anderson is moving ahead with 43 percent of the vote. Supervisor Stone has 27 percent, Ken Dickson 20 percent, and Pastor Stephens 9.6 percent.

Paul Clay is the lone contender on the Democratic ticket and has garnered 100 percent of the vote. In November the GOP nominee will square off against the Democratic nominee to fill the seat being vacated by Senator Hollingsworth who was termed out.
