A million (or more) recipes for sale

FALLBROOK – Judith Bell, food editor of The Village News, announced April 20 that she is selling recipes she has collected over her professional career.

“Many of my friends and family have given me their recipe boxes and I’ve kept them. And I’ve collected lots and lots and lots of recipes on my own, too.

“Now is the time to pass them on,” Bell said as she announced her “Million Recipes for Sale” project based at The Village News offices.

“There is no duplication of recipes and no categories. People will just tell me how many they want to purchase (see advertisement on Page D-5) and we’ll count them out from a very, very large container. They’ll be mailed and soon the purchaser will have new recipes to try.

“We’ll be sharing a portion of the revenue of this project with various non-profits in the Fallbrook area as well as the Temecula Valley,” Bell said.
