    PAUMA VALLEY -- Two people were killed in head-on crash, as the driver of a stolen car sped away from deputies and veered into oncoming traffic near Pauma Valley today. A third person inside the stolen Honda Accord was injured, as well as the driver of the car that they hit. The chase began just before 1 a.m. when sheriff's deputies located a Honda Accord that had been reported stolen in Escondido, according to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Michael Tingley.     SAN DIEGO -- A Fallbrook man is facing federal charges after he allegedly sold fentanyl-laced heroin to a man who overdosed on the drug. The suspect, 41-year-old Corey Bernard Green, is already serving a sentence in state custody after he pleaded guilty to manufacturing drugs, for which he was arrested on Nov. 30, 2017, U.S. Attorney Adam Braverman said in a statement Friday.     An 80-year-old Fallbrook man died earlier this week from injuries he suffered after being struck by a vehicle near the Promenade mall in Temecula, sheriff’s and coroner’s officials said.
