Thank you for helping with clean up

Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make our September 20 Clean-Up/Recycling Day such a huge success. Over 65 individuals turned out to help clean up streets and littered areas around town and to assist with the numerous recycling events at the community parking lot.

Several of Fallbrook’s community service organizations also participated, including the Fallbrook Rotary, the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce, the Fallbrook Garden Club, the Fallbrook Women’s Club and the Boy Scouts, to name a few.

We are also indebted to Pizza Hut and the Donut Stop for providing food for the volunteers, and to the Senior Sheriff’s Volunteers for ensuring that everything ran smoothly and without incident.

The huge community support for this day was clearly evident in the beehive of activity all across the large parking lot behind the Art and Cultural Center. It was a day to make us all very proud of our “Friendly Village.”
