I am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Donna Gebhart, who is seeking election to the Fallbrook Community Planning Group.
I have known Donna for over 10 years and admire her enthusiasm and dedication to help keep Fallbrook the unique and lovely place it is. Besides being a good friend to many, she is a good listener and she truly cares about our town and its future.
Since moving to Fallbrook in 1997, Donna and her husband, Al, have been tireless workers for improving it and its surrounding areas.
They have worked on a number of projects, including the Santa Margarita Rivershed open space trails, and the Trails Council, which Donna chairs, worked on the development of the Santa Margarita Park (173 acres), which had its grand opening last year after six years of dedicated work in partnership with San Diego County Parks and Rec and Supervisor Horn’s office.
The FLC Trails Council partners with the Fallbrook Public Utility District and maintains the Sandia Creek Park (55 acres) for public use as well as the Santa Margarita Rivershed.
I feel Donna will be an asset to the Fallbrook Community Planning Group. She will bring fresh ideas and an energetic diligence to this important group. Vote for Donna in November.
