Learn to paint with 'One Stroke'

FALLBROOK — Enjoy a free demonstration of “One Stroke” decorative painting with instructor Penny Clark on November 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fallbrook School of the Arts at 310 East Alvarado Street.

Penny Clark is a One Stroke Certified Instructor (OSCI) who moved to Fallbrook in late August. She is very excited to introduce and teach this fun, fast decorative painting technique.

The technique was created by Donna Dewberry, who hosts her “One Stroke Painting” TV Series on PBS and is regularly featured on QVC and HSN.

As a busy mother of seven, Dewberry wanted to learn traditional decorative painting but had “no time or patience!” so she created this fast and easy technique of double-loading a brush with two colors, then using her specialized brushstrokes to paint leaves, flower petals and more all in “One Stroke.”

This method is perfect for beginner painters, adults and children alike, who would like to start with an easy, affordable way to paint with immediate results.
