Yuletide concert of traditional carols

Whether offering comfort and joy, camaraderie and good cheer or welcoming in the Christmas season, the yuletide spirit will fill the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts in Fallbrook on Friday, December 5, at 8 p.m.

Continuing Fallbrook Music Society’s 2008-2009 concert series, this festive family event of traditional and historical carols offers the Westwind Brass and the Don Morris Singers in concert, each group bringing its personal touch to the evening.

The family-oriented program includes several combined pieces for chorus and brass as well as selections from “The Nutcracker Suite,” “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Joy to the World,” “Good Christian Men Rejoice,” “Gloria Patri” and “A Ceremony of Carols,” among many others.

Concertgoers will also have an opportunity to join the chorus and brass quintet in a spirited sing-along.

Adult tickets for this featured performance are $30. Discount tickets are also available for groups of 10 or more. Special pricing is available for students at $10.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (760) 451-8644 or visiting http://www.fallbrookmusicsociety.org.
