Legislators unable to make meaningful decisions
Last updated 2/26/2009 at Noon
Our state legislature is a travesty unto itself. They were elected to represent us and to make meaningful decisions. It is very obvious they are unable to do this and therefore the state is in a fiscal mess.
I am reminded of an incident that took place years ago in my workplace when I asked one of my co-workers, “Have you signed up for the decision-making course yet?” His answer was a classic: “I haven’t made up my mind!”
It is my serious belief that our state legislators didn’t sign up for the course either. Or, if they did, they flunked!
