Village News says 'thank you'

I want to thank the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce and all the business people who came to the SunDowner on Wednesday, March 18, at our Village News/Elder House office. We had a great time.

A big ‘thank you’ to Major Market, which co-sponsored the event with us and provided all the food. Their new chef, Corey, did a fantastic job. We enjoyed a delicious antipasto tray with roasted vegetables, fresh mozzarella, Italian meat and olives, which went perfectly with the assortment of rustic breads from their bakery. It was a huge crowd-pleaser. I didn’t realize Major Market could provide sushi! The variety of rolls they provided were probably the biggest hit of the buffet and went really fast. They also provided cocktail sandwiches that were packed with deliciously tender meats and cheese. In addition, they prepared wraps with meats and fresh vegetables that they sliced into pinwheels, perfect for an outdoor event. They also prepared two gourmet cheese trays and beautiful fresh fruit plates. The colorful orchid blossoms that decorated the trays were admired by all our guests. Top all of that off with freshly made guacamole, multicolored tortilla chips, fresh salsa and beautiful flower arrangements! What a great time. Thanks again.
