VISTA — “Ruthless! The Musical” will play October 1 through November 1 at Vista’s Broadway Theater. It is best described as a musical comedy spoof of the entertainment world.

Ruthless is the story of Judy Denmark, a typical ’50s housewife full of the desire to clean, cook and care for her child. One day a mysterious woman appears at Judy’s door and tells her that her daughter, 8-year-old Tina, has what it takes to be a star and she must manage her career.
